Refresh the brand identity for speciality coffee shop Tin House.
Branding in the coffee industry is typically full of hessian textures, brown colours and pictures of beans, but I wanted to do something different with my Tin House rebrand.
Taking inspiration from the speciality coffee movement in Melbourne, I decided to create a brand that is clean and modern, but also bold and strong.
The "stacked" logo references a side on view of a house with the T and H taking the place of what would normally be windows. The bold lines of the logos have been carried throughout the menu, cards, packaging, promotional posters and other brand collateral to create a striking and confident suite of visuals.
Short, punchy copy found on the promotional posters, and a minimal black and white colour scheme found throughout the brand, enforce this air of confidence the company should, and indeed does, have.
